Our Mission

At Mt Sinai, our mission is to foster the spiritual and educational development of each child by incorporating teachings about the Lord through a balance of worship and academic activities. We welcome the community to participate in creating an environment that recognizes and celebrates the transformative impact of God's love. As a cohesive team, we work together to prepare our children for the challenges of the present world and the opportunities that lie ahead in the future.

Our Philosophy

Our Programs are based on the belief in the uniqueness and intrinsic values of each child, parent and staff member. The staff strives to help each child and family feel safe, secure and comfortable by providing a nurturing and Christian environment. Our programs are also based on the understanding that young children learn best through play that involves them in actively constructing their own knowledge. The programs provide a warm and stimulating atmosphere that offers children opportunities to play alone and to interact with their peers and adults. The staff structures the environment with a rich and diverse range of experiences in an open classroom setting, and then serves as resources to the children during their explorations.

About Us

Mt. Sinai Child-Development Center is owned and operated by Mt. Sinai Seventh-day Adventist Church at 2600 Orange Center Boulevard in Orlando, Florida. Our curriculum is Bible based and therefore our chief objective is to teach the highest standards of academic achievement. We believe that there should be no mediocrity in Christian education but rather, an even superiority in excellence.

Our Qualified Staff

We believe strong, viable parent/teacher relationships promote effective communication and participation. Our staff works closely with parents for the benefit of the child and includes families in the curriculum and special events.


All of our staff meet the Florida Department of Children and Family (DCF) requirements for formal education for their respective positions, have had experience working with young children and their families, and DCF approved certification in First Aid and CPR. The staff enjoys and understands how young children learn and grow. They respond with sensitivity to each child's individual needs, desires, and interests.
